Are you looking to purchase a new GMC Canyon, but are unsure of what trim option to go for? Don’t worry, you’re not alone, our dealers at Woodhouse Buick GMC are here to help you find the configuration that specifically fits your driving expectations.

The Many Trim Options You Can Expect When Buying a New GMC Canyon
The GMC Canyon is a pickup truck that houses a lot of power underneath its hood. When browsing our selection of new vehicles, you’ll find a myriad of trim options to choose from for the GMC Canyon. The GMC Canyon comes in many configurations including the SL, LE, SLE, SLT, and Denali. When you lift the hood of a base model SL GMC Canyon, you’ll find a 2.5-liter engine that produces 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft worth of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drivetrain are also apart of the standard auto gear here. However, if you want a little more, the GMC Canyon can be upgraded to a 3.6-liter V6 engine. This V6 engine is capable of 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft worth of torque, and sits nicely with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The difference between the GMC Canyon’s trim options becomes more clear when you sit inside. In base SL models you’ll find a reasonably sized 7.0-inch infotainment system that’s touch-activated and gets Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. Although, if you take a step up to the SLT trim option, for instance, you’ll get a bigger 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as remote start, and a power-adjustable passenger’s seat.
