• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: If it’s detected that you’re unintentionally drifting out of the detected lane line, this feature provides a gentle turn of the steering wheel to keep you in line. The feature won’t activate if it detects intentional lane changes or if the turn signal is on. 

• Following Distance Indicator: To help you see if you’re following a vehicle too closely, this safety feature displays the gap time in seconds between you and the car. 

• Front Pedestrian Braking: Similar to the Forward Collision Alert, this feature detects and alerts you to the presence of a pedestrian when traveling below 50 mph. To prevent a collision, it can also provide hard braking. 

• IntelliBeam®: The high-beam headlamps of the GMC Terrain turn on and off automatically according to traffic conditions around Lincoln.

GMC Pro Safety Plus

• Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert: When attempting to change lanes, this safety feature in the terrain uses your side mirrors to warn you when a vehicle is approaching quickly or if a car is in your blind spot. 

• Rear Cross Traffic Alert: This feature is helpful when backing out of a parking spot as it alerts you to vehicles passing from the left or right side. 

• Rear Park Assist: When parking, the Rear Park Assist system helps avoid objects in your path and collisions at low speeds.
