On paper, this engine beats most of the competition’s base engines, and we expect it to give authoritative performance to the new Acadia… With an Active Torque Control AWD system, an off-road-tuned suspension, and extra ride height, it [AT4] should manage moderate off-roading while retaining on-road comfort.” 
• Edmunds: “There’s only one motor for the 2024 Acadia, but the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder is more potent than either of the old powertrains. It produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque, gains of 100 hp and 68 lb-ft compared to the previous four-cylinder, and 18 hp and 55 lb-ft against the V6.”
• Car and Driver: “That peppy little unit produces more than the outgoing model’s optional 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6, which, when we previously tested it, got to 60 mph in a leisurely 6.1 seconds… this new generation shares much of its bones with the new Chevy Traverse.
