Power and Performance
The GMC Terrain comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that offers 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive available as an option.
This GMC SUV has great handling, and its excellent suspension system ensures a smooth ride. It also has fantastic gas mileage for the class: 25 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.
Interior
Up to five people can fit comfortably in the GMC Terrain, and both rows are roomy. Standard features include cloth upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. You can get an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated and ventilated front seats, and perforated leather upholstery.
This new GMC has a lot of cargo room: 29.6 cubic feet of space behind the back row and 63.3 cubic feet when it’s down. A power liftgate or a hands-free power liftgate can be added depending on your package and trim.
